Daylite Touch
Since I use the Daylite application on the Mac, I use Daylite Touch on my iPhone. This is all project and customer relationship management (CRM) based. Daylite keeps notes and informations on all projects and leads (opportunities) that I have going on and shows me the exact status of them as well as stores tasks and appointments in the Daylite calendar. The application itself is free from the App Store but requires a Daylite Touch license to work from Marketcircle and requires syncing with the computer application.
PayPal
Most payments into my company are done through PayPal and being able to check my account status from anywhere on the iPhone is a big plus for me. Even though I rarely use it for transactions itself, you can both request and send money through the app.PayPal is available for free on the App Store.
Billings Touch
Together with Daylite I use its companion product, Billings, to track time spent on projects. To be able to have this information with me on the go and also be able to track time into Billings without having the computer app open, I use Billings Touch, which I have reviewed previously here on BestAppSite. The main Billings Touch application is available for free from the App Store, letting you do much of the functions in the app, standalone. If you want syncing to the computer or invoice creation you need to purchase an extension through an in-app purchase.
Keynote Remote
Even though I do like a real remote for my presentations most of the time (the iPhone feels just a tad too big), I have used Keynote Remote to control my presentations quite a few times. The fact that you can get a preview of your coming slides on the iPhone itself I think is a big benefit (if you can master it).Plus, for 99¢, I think it is a no-brainer. on the App Store
Dropbox
Getting my files over the internet is just a piece-of-cake via Dropbox (which Terry reviewed the other day). I can just make sure I upload the file to Dropbox from my computer and I can get it on my iPhone without any hassle.Dropbox is a free service and application, available in the App Store. You can sign up for a free account online.
Acrobat Connect Pro
Now and then, I get to sign in to web conference meetings or presentations. Sometimes the timing of these are slightly inconvenient or I am not at my computer. Well, if my aim is to just watch and not participate over VOIP I can do that from the Acrobat Connect Pro app (if the meeting is using Acrobat Connect Pro from the start). This app as well is a free one and available in the App Store.
Things
Knowing yourself is good and for that reason, I use Things as my to-do list manager. Simply put, there are a lot of things in my day that I would forget unless I had a place to store them and look them up later on. Things on the iPhone syncs with Things on my mac (and also on the iPad if you have one) and offers you to manage your full list like on your Mac.Things can be purchased for $9.99 in the App Store.
Analytics App
Running a media company and a website development company, I do need to check not just the traffic of my own sites but also certain client websites’ traffic. Analytics App taps right into, and uses, Google Analytics data and presents it in a good-looking, mobile fashion. You can get the app on the App Store for $6.99.
